The Ash Grove Motel has been extensively renovated and refitted over the last 4 years. Wendy and Fred Grindlay, owner/operators, are delighted to welcome you to their quiet location, set in lovely gardens, situated just 3km from the Paihia/Waitangi waterfront.
We offer quality accommodation, rated Qualmark 4 star, with an Enviro Bronze responsible tourism accreditation. This is supplemented by the facility of a superb 17 metre swimming pool and a hot spa. We are agents for all the tours and attractions on offer in the Bay of Islands. Prior to 2004, when we settled in New Zealand, we spent five years operating a small farmhouse Bed & Breakfast in the UK, where we won several awards for good service.
